- No they're not all the same. Is a Cardinal the same as a USR? Far
- from it. You could try turning off error correction, if you have
- _really_ clean lines. I don't know if that would do it, though.
- The command may be at&m0 or at&q0. Also, issue &d2 in your init.
- This will make the modem hang up if DTR is dropped. And accompanying
- this, there is an S register which specifies how long the modem will wait
- if carrier is dropped before hanging up. You could make it real
- short. I don't know the which one it is off the top of my head.
